Cirque Du Soleil / Concept Development

These sketches show some of my eclectic thought process in developing odd and whimsical interactive experiences, objects and environments.

 

In spring of 2001 I put together a design team to work with the Cirque du Soleil creators on a unique concept for a new enterprise.

 

It was one of the coolest projects ever. We were dreaming up a series of magical destinations around the world called Complexe Cirque. ​Our concept was far ahead of its time in its scope, technology and social networking aspects. But it never came to pass.

 

On the evening of 9/11/2001 we planned to meet in Montreal to present our progress to the Cirque Team. Instead, our work and all of our world were halted and turned upside down by the events of 9/11.
